Alsama Group is a private business consultancy based in Business Bay, Dubai, working with international entrepreneurs and investors who need a company set up, a residency visa filed, a bank account opened, or a property bought correctly the first time. The firm has operated since 2016 under four registered UAE entities, including a Dubai Land Department-licensed real estate arm and a Department of Economy and Tourism trade licence covering its documents clearing services. This page sets out what Alsama actually does, who runs it, which licences back it, and where the limits of any consultancy's promises sit.

Who Alsama Group Is

Alsama Group was founded in 2016 by Soheila Moshkelgosha, who remains CEO and personally reviews client cases. The company runs from two Dubai locations: a head office at Tamani Art Offices Tower in Business Bay, and a second office at the Radisson Blu Hotel Creek on Baniyas Street. Both are staffed offices, not addresses used only for a licence filing.

The team is multilingual, working across English, Persian and Arabic, which matters because most clients are arranging paperwork in a jurisdiction, and sometimes a language, that is not their own. Soheila had already spent more than eight years in Dubai business services before founding Alsama, and the firm has since worked with businesses from more than 40 countries.

Alsama is not a one-person operation trading on a single founder's name. Day to day, cases move through named specialists: a head of accounting and tax, two real estate managers, a corporate banking specialist and a trading specialist, each responsible for their part of a file rather than one generalist handling everything at once.

What We Actually Do, Start to Finish

Alsama's work sits across five areas, and most client cases touch more than one of them.

Company formation. Free zone and mainland setup in Dubai, covering activity selection, licensing, and the paperwork that has to be correct before a bank or immigration file can move. See company setup for the routes currently offered.

Residency. Visa pathways tied to company formation, property investment or family sponsorship, handled by the same team that files the underlying company or property paperwork rather than passed to a separate visa agent. Details are on the residency page.

Banking. Corporate and personal bank account opening, including document preparation, bank selection and KYC compliance, run by a dedicated specialist who works directly with Emirates NBD, Mashreq, ADCB, RAKBank and Wio. See bank account opening.

Tax and VAT. Corporate tax registration, VAT registration and annual filing, run by a head of accounting and tax who has handled FTA registrations for both single-owner LLCs and multi-entity structures since 2023.

Real estate. Off-plan and ready property across Dubai, from sourcing through DLD registration to handover, covered in more detail below.

Licence renewal and PRO support round out the list, keeping an already-formed company compliant rather than starting from a blank file every time a licence comes up for renewal.

Dubai Real Estate and Our Oman Services

Alsama's real estate work is run by two managers, Ali and Maryam Kazeminezhad (Real Estate Department Manager, RERA BRN 76534), who split coverage across Dubai's off-plan and ready markets, from Downtown to Dubai South. Their brief includes shortlisting property against a buyer's actual goal, whether that is rental income, capital growth or Golden Visa eligibility, developer negotiation, DLD registration and handover. Full detail is on the Dubai real estate page.

This part of the business operates under its own DLD-licensed entity, separate from the trading and documents-clearing licences covering the rest of the group. That separation matters because real estate brokerage in Dubai is regulated on its own terms, and a firm advising on property needs a licence specific to that activity rather than a borrowed one.

Alongside Dubai, Alsama also runs company formation and residency services in Oman, covering setup, investor routes and property. Oman operates under different authorities and a different timeline to the UAE, so an Oman case is not treated as a smaller version of a Dubai one. Clients weighing both markets can start from the company setup in Oman page rather than assuming the Dubai process transfers directly. You can verify this broker registration on the DLD Licensed Real Estate Brokers registry.

How We Work: Consultation to Follow-Through

A new case starts with a free initial assessment. There is no charge to describe a situation and get a recommended path; the cost conversation only happens once there is a specific route to quote against.

From there, a case generally moves through four stages: the activity and setup route are confirmed against the client's actual goal, whether that is a licence, a residency file or a property purchase; documents are prepared and, where relevant, a company name is reserved; the licence, visa or transaction is filed with the relevant authority; and banking, tax registration or a renewal plan is set up once the core file is approved.

The specialist who opens a case is generally the one who sees it through its filing stages, rather than the file being reassigned every time it touches a different service. That continuity is deliberate. A real estate purchase that also involves a Golden Visa application, for example, benefits from one team that understands both halves of the transaction, instead of two teams handing paperwork back and forth.

Who We Work With

Alsama's client base is international by design. The firm has worked with businesses from more than 40 countries since 2016, and the day-to-day language mix of English, Persian and Arabic reflects that. Typical clients include a founder relocating a business to set up a free zone or mainland structure, an investor buying off-plan or ready property in Dubai with an eye on residency, a family sponsoring dependants through an existing company or property file, and a trader who needs a general trading or import-export licence rather than a professional services one.

What connects these cases is not nationality but the shape of the problem: a foreign applicant navigating UAE company, immigration, banking or property rules for the first time, who would rather have someone local handle the filing than try to interpret government portals from abroad.

What We Can and Cannot Promise

Alsama prepares files; authorities and banks decide them. Bank account opening is subject to bank approval and cannot be guaranteed by any consultancy, including this one. What a well-prepared application does is remove the reasons a bank would otherwise say no, not force a particular outcome. The same is true of residency visas and licence approvals: Alsama can file a complete, correctly evidenced case, but the decision sits with GDRFA, ICP, DET, DLD or the relevant free zone authority, not with us.

Government fees, processing timelines and eligibility rules change, sometimes without much notice, and a figure quoted in an initial consultation is confirmed against the live fee schedule at the point of application, not assumed from an earlier case. We would rather tell a client a route looks unlikely to succeed before they pay for it than take on a case we do not expect to work.

None of this is a disclaimer buried in fine print. It is the same thing we say in a first meeting, because a firm that only mentions its limits after something goes wrong is not being straight with a client.

The People Handling Your Case

Beyond Soheila, day-to-day work runs through five specialists. Samira leads accounting and tax, handling corporate tax registration, annual filing and VAT compliance for structures ranging from single-owner LLCs to multi-entity groups. Ali and Maryam manage real estate, covering Dubai's off-plan and ready markets from Downtown to Dubai South, with Ali focused on tracking rental yields and developer records and Maryam focused on matching property to a buyer's specific goal through to handover. Shakiba runs corporate banking, working directly with UAE banks on document preparation, bank selection and KYC compliance. Aala covers trading licences, import and export, and commercial brokerage across the Department of Economy and Tourism's activity classifications.

Full profiles, including each specialist's specific focus areas, are on the Alsama team page.
